"DNA plasma M" kit is intended for research purposes and for general laboratory use only.
"DNA plasma M" is designed for the rapid isolation of highly pure circulating DNA from blood plasma. The kit method is based on binding of nucleic acids on the surface of magnetic microbeads. Lysis is achieved by incubation of blood plasma in a solution containing Proteinase K. Appropriate conditions for DNA binding are achieved by addition of ethanol to the lysate. The binding process is reversible and specific to nucleic acids. The protocol can be modified to increase the final volume of isolated DNA (proportions of each components reagents should be increased).
1) "DNA Plasma M" kits allow purification of highly pure DNA with an A260/A280 ratio between 1.6 and 2.0
2) The kit allows purification of DNA with a typical concentration of 5-50 ng per 1 mcl of plasma.
3) The volume of isolated DNA is from 5 to 1 000 ng.
4) Normal required for testing quantity of obtained from blood plasma DNA is 5-50 ng.
The obtained DNA is ready-to-use for subsequent reactions like PCR, Southern blotting, or any kind of enzymatic reactions.
